A Haiku on celluloid, 'Beyond the Rains' is a gentle love story that juxtaposes phantoms of the past with the realities of today. The film releasing on Valentine's Eve celebrates love and ten years of path-breaking productions from 'The Savitha Sastry Production Company'.

The film is choreographed and performed by Savitha Sastry - an astounding testimony to her epithet 'The Dancing Storyteller'. The music, reflecting the fragility of the tale weaves it's magic on the viewer, and is composed by Abhay Nayampally. Writer and Director AK Srikanth steers off his trodden path to present a tale that is sure to move you to a quiet tear.
