If Pallavamalla at the age of 12 did not sail to India from Kambojadesa - the world would have never had the Vaikunta Perumal temple. Once crowned emperor in 731 AD, he became Nandivarman II and engaged in the renovation of several old temples and building new ones, the pinnacle which was the Vaikunta Perumal.
