Steam Incorporated's DOUBLE THUNDER excursion from Paekakariki to Woodville on Saturday 18th July 2015 was one well awaited by rail enthusiasts after the trip was cancelled on June 20th due to severe weather damaging the track. Nevertheless the postponed excursion went ahead with steam locomotives Ja 1271 & Ab 608 "Passchendaele" at the head in full cry as they head through the Manawatu region including the spectacular Manawatu Gorge with a 10 total train. Although the weather turned into heavy rain, it provided an interesting effect as the 2 locos thunder along the track. Anyways enjoy the sight and sound of Steam Incorporated's Ja 1271, Ab 608 and heritage carriages, a scene that is rarely seen on today's KiwiRail national rail network of New Zealand!
Excuse the spelling mistake at 13:53 Incoporated is Incorporated :)
