Apple Cider Doughnut Cake
1- 13.25 oz Box Yellow Cake Mix
1 C. Grated Apples, Golden Delicious, Granny Smith or Honeycrisp
1 Stick (1/2 C.) Unsalted Butter Melted and Cooled
4 Large Eggs at Room Temperature
3/4 C. Hard Apple Cider or Regular Apple Cider (if using 15.25 oz box of cake mix, use 1 C. Apple Cider)
2 t. Ground Cinnamon
1/4 t. Ground Nutmeg
Cinnamon Sugar Coating (for cupcakes, triple the recipe, brush tops of cupcakes with melted butter, roll cupcake tops in Cinnamon sugar)
2 T. Granulated Sugar
1/4 t. Ground Cinnamon
Bake in 10-12 C. Bundt Pan @ 350 degrees 35-40 minutes or until tester comes out clean. Check on cake at 25 minutes to see how it is baking up.
