After living in Minnesota for 34 years, we finally made our way up to International Falls (the ice box of the nation) for 5 days. We had heard it was beautiful up there and it did not disappoint, and the icying on the cake was riding the Rainy Lake trail which is a 14 mile collection of bicycle pathes and on road riding from International Falls to the Rainy Lake Visitors Center of Voyageurs National Park. Besides bicycling we enjoyed fishing and hiking along with just plain relaxing. Highly recommended.
