Sorakuen is an authentic Japanese garden that can be easily visited on foot from downtown Kobe Sannomiya and Motomachi. You can spend an elegant time in the garden, which has a rich expression that changes with the seasons, making you forget the hustle and bustle of the surrounding city. It was built during the Meiji period as the private residence of businessman Yasujiro Kodera, and is now a city park managed by Kobe City that entertains visitors. At the parlor inside THE SORAKUEN, you can enjoy meals and sweets while looking out at the beautiful garden. This is a special sightseeing spot in Kobe.
