The Nike Metcon 9 is the latest cross-training shoe to debut from Nike and this is the 9th core iteration in the popular Nike Metcon line.

I've been a long-time fan of the Nike Metcon cross-training shoe line and it's been fun to see the ebb and flow of this shoe line. My favorite model to date has been the Nike Metcon 4 so it's interesting to see the progression of this shoe line.

In my Nike Metcon 9 review, I'm going to cover all of the key details that you should know before investing in these shoes.

Overall, the Nike Metcon 9 is just an "okay" iteration, in my opinion. I think they'll get the job done for most, but they're not my favorite model to date.

If you've been longing for more width in your Nike Metcons and want a model for CrossFit, lifting, and some cross-training, then I think you'll really like the Metcon 9.

My main gripes with this model include its higher price point, excessive rope guards, and the clunky heel which has been present in the Metcon 7, 8, too.
