The Nike Free Metcon 6 has been quite the emotional roller coaster for me over my first week of wearing them.

I loved these after my first workout because they gave me original Nike Free x Metcon vibes, but that excitement was short-lived because both of my pairs started having durability issues after just my second workout.

This model has a lot of potential, but I worry the reworked midsole and outsole may prove to be further problematic as my testing continues.

As I continue to test and build out content on the Nike Free Metcon 6, my main focus is going to be on their durability.

This shoe has felt great for my strength, hypertrophy, and cross-training sessions, so the versatility is there — but is the investment for most lifters and athletes? That's what I want to know.

I'm really hoping my issue with this shoe's durability is a one-off case, but based on the materials and my observations — I'm not sure if that will be the case.
