🔹Ingredients:
5 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
3.75 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 cup milk
Coffee syrup (recipe below)
Cream for layers
Light blue and lilac food coloring
Gold powder and alcohol for painting
Special molds for mermaid tails and seashells
🔘For making the syrup:
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup water
1 tablespoon coffee
Place all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Then, let it cool completely.
🔹Instructions:
▫️ Beat eggs on high speed for 2 minutes until fluffy.
▫️ Add sugar and continue beating for 3-4 minutes until the mixture doubles in volume and turns creamy.
▫️ Gradually incorporate the vegetable oil.
▫️ Mix flour and baking powder separately, then gradually add to the batter, alternating with milk.
▫️ Divide the batter into two portions, bake each in a 15-inch pan.
▫️ Once baked, slice each cake into two layers.
▫️ Before frosting, moisten each layer with coffee syrup.
▫️ Cover each layer with cream.
▫️ Tint part of the cream light blue, and another part lilac for the decoration.
▫️ Use special molds to create mermaid tails and seashells.
▫️ For the gold accents, mix gold powder with a small amount of alcohol and paint with a brush.
