Dr Harley Smith is the Research Team Leader at CSIRO Agriculture & Food in Adelaide. He is the project Leader for the Hort Innovation funded irregular bearing project AV16005 “Maximising yield and reducing seasonal variation”, which focused on understanding immature fruit abscission for managing the summer fruit event in avocado.
