The final part of my trip on Amtrak 5, The California Zephyr. This part features the climb up and over Soldier Summit from Helper to Salt Lake City. This is followed by an 79 mph dash across the Bonneville Salt Flats and a climb up Silver Zone Pass. The next morning, it's the final descent down from Donner Pass to my final destination at Roseville, 18 1/2 hours behind schedule.
