Alberta Premier Danielle Smith delivers remarks at an event marking the opening of the Arthur J.E. Child Comprehensive Cancer Centre in Calgary. Set to officially open at the end of the month, the new state-of-the-art facility will provide research, screening, prevention and patient-centered treatment.

She is joined by provincial ministers Adriana LaGrange (health) and Pete Guthrie (infrastructure), as well as Sandy Edmonstone (vice-chair of the Alberta Health Services board of directors), Brenda Hubley (chief program officer of Cancer Care Alberta), and Charlotte Kessler (a patient and patient adviser).
