He's the Punisher, need I say more. I grab some scrap wood, scrap metal, and a ring from an old bar stool and put it together for this project.

Using some oak from a pallet, I glue up a blank and cut the circle out at the band saw. I didn't plan on roughing up the wood as you will see in the video, but while I was cleaning up some of the joints, it lost its rough appearance. The wood is stained with Ebony by minwax. The skull is cut from an old metal shelf. I thought about gluing it to the wood, but I wasn't confident that any of my glues would hold. I ended up welding some bolts to the skull. Being a bit long, it allowed me to have the skull raised off of the surface. I think it gives it some nice depth and it creates some cool shadowing. The ring is from a broken barstool and is held in place by some metal screws that I modified to remove the shine.

Remember, tools can be dangerous so use caution.
