Kelve is an small town in Palghar district famous for its beach and Shitladevi temple. A perfect place for one day picnic or weekend outing. There are many resorts located near the beach and one of them is Tandel Resort where u can enjoy authentic village style food cooked on a mitti ka chulha.
The resort has a total of 12 rooms for individuals to groups of 5 to 6 persons, play area , gaming , small pool with slides and inhouse restaurant. But the main attraction is the tasty village style food with vegetarian and non vegetarian options specially fresh seafood.

Everything is prepared fresh here as they source fresh seafood and taste is malvani and konkani style . Cooking is mostly done old lady named Vanita Vasdev Tandel of the Tandel Family who manage the and own the resort. She has been cooking for last 30yrs and started from Rs 10 per Thali.

The Staff is also very cooperative and service is quick. They even have special arrangments for special occasions ,birthday parties and celebrations for upto 50 people with food and stay arrangements. Nice place to relax on weekends and enjoy the views of kelve beach
