Syracuse vs. Duke: The second-ranked Orange won their seventh game in a row by topping the Blue Devils, 16-10. Duke scored the opening goal of the second half to tie the game at six, and then Syracuse outscored the Blue Devils 7-0 in the remaining time of the third quarter to take control of the game. The Orange are off to a program-best 9-0 start to the season, including 4-0 in ACC play. Megan Carney scored a game-high five goals on seven shots. Emma Tyrrell and Emma Ward each contributed three goals and two assists to the Syracuse win. For Duke, Caroline DeBellis had two goals and two assists, and Katie DeSimone had three goals and an assist.
