#SpiderMan No Way Home (not in this broken old car.)

This is my longest video yet, but I didn't want to cut anything out for those who enjoy watching the whole process. This restoration was of a Tonka Fun Buggy I've had lying around for a while now, I airbrushed it with transparent nail polish I mixed up to get the color I wanted, and I sprayed it over a mirror finish polish on the bare metal. Spider webs were done in Ultra Fine Sharpie, and the hubcaps are just brass metal blanks I picked up online.

Why Spider-Man, with his ability to fly all over town from his webs, designed and built the Spider-Mobile is still beyond me, maybe he wanted his own BatMobile (someone actually paid him to do it) but nevertheless, the SpiderMobile is an important part of Spider-Lore even though he rarely used it and didn't know how to drive, it tried to kill him, he crashed it and abandoned it in the river, and then he just kind of forgot about it. Still! It's a part of history, it's comicbook canon and it was built by Johnny Storm. Literally. He welded it together with his finger.

As silly as it is, it's one of my favorite pieces of comic book history, and Buddy L even made a couple of them back in the late 1970s! None were true to the comics though, and this Volkswagen based dune-buggy is as close as I could ask for a faithful recreation.

If you're reading this, thank you. Those who enjoy my work enough to be here, in the description, seeing these words, are the people I do this for. It makes my day to know people are enjoying being here. Please stick around, and don't be afraid to leave me a comment. I read and respond to each and every one. Feedback is welcome, or just say hello. If there's something you need to talk about, I'm here to help anyone who needs advice, anything. Don't be shy.
