This is an antique Wyandotte brand "China Clipper" Seaplane, called a Flying Boat in 1936 when they built it, it was the first international seaplane made by Martin. Was used in the Indiana Jones movie, and this one was one of the most popular pressed steel toys of the 1930s. This particular toy has been stepped on, welded together, repainted, left out in the sun and rusted together in one whole mess. About as destroyed as you can get one, I wager. I bring it back to its former glory with my own decals I created myself based on the original colors of the Pan American Airlines logo. This was my first faithful restoration, and there will surely be many more to come.
