Follow me as I learn how to make Chicken Hekka from some of the best cooks I know, my grandparents!

Chicken Hekka Recipe:

3 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1 pkg long rice
5 Shitake or button mushrooms
1 1/2 round onion
3 medium carrots
4 celery stalks
1 block konnyaku
1 can takenoko (bamboo shoots)

Sauce:
2 C. shoyu
1/2 C. raw sugar
1/3 C. Sake
