Volkswagen will introduce the Jetta GLI and Jetta, both with revised versions, in 2025. New interior upgrades and updated exterior lighting are rumored to be coming to the Jetta. Some people speculate that manufacturers will soon discontinue manual transmissions. Debuting in 2019, this generation of the Jetta received its latest major redesign for the 2022 season. We wouldn't be surprised if Volkswagen revealed an updated Jetta for the 2025 model year, given that schedule. Our investigation shows that the Jetta's various trim levels will continue to provide customers with a variety of convenience features. The 2025 Volkswagen Jetta will formally resemble the current model, but with a slightly better design. Above the bumper, you can see the grille; it's smaller and less striking than today's prominent designs. Large rectangular LEDs form the new headlight cluster. Smaller, more contemporary headlights and a reduced front grille are expected for the next model year. The overall shape of the vehicle will probably remain the same, but the lines will be sharper and more sculpted. The lower air dam exterior layer is shared between the Jetta and GLI on this model. Apart from that, there may be changes to the rear lights and a more muscular rear bumper appearance. According to Volkswagen, dealers will begin receiving 2025 model year vehicles in September. Continuation of its deployment is planned by the company until early 2025. We estimate the cost will start at around $20,895, which is in line with the 2024 Jetta's starting point, although official pricing information has not yet been announced. While we don't have official details yet, we can assume that the 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that currently produces 158 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque will carry over to the 2025 Volkswagen Jetta. A six-speed manual would be overkill when paired with this engine and gearbox eight-speed automatic. In addition, a plug-in or hybrid Jetta may be introduced by Volkswagen for the 2025 model year. However, this has not been confirmed by Volkswagen.
