Psychosis is an unbelievable experience - anything can happen. In the most dangerous situation of my life I managed to save my life by running away from my abuser. I don’t know what my life would be like if I hadn’t done that. I’m amazed that I could leave in a state where I didn’t even know what was happening to me. Psychosis is scary, and not just because of the symptoms. It is so easy to fall victim to violence when you’re so vulnerable. I’m lucky to have gotten away, I really can’t stress that enough.
