For those who wish to be recruited to compete in Cross Country or Track & Field at the collegiate level, we compiled some recruiting tips from 2024 high school grads Jason Parra (Millikan High and Notre Dame), Anthony Fast Horse (Ventura High and U of Oregon), Xai Ricks (LB Poly and U of Georgia), and Ambodai Ligons (Cathedral high and U of Washington). This is by no means comprehensive, and what was right for these athletes may not work for you. We hope to share more insights in the future. In the meantime, it is important to work closely with your coach, counselor and family to identify schools that may fit in terms of academics, athletics and finances and then develop a recruitment plan.
