Cathedral High School in downtown Los Angeles is small, but they placed 5th in Boys D4 at CIF-ss Cross Country Finals and 2nd at CIF State in 2022. Key to their success are Emmanuel "Manny" Perez, who won both CIF-ss and CIF State XC titles as a junior, and Emmanuel "Manny" Hernandez, who placed 9th in SS and 5th at State. Manny Perez also got an invite to NXN as an individual. Together, they are "The Mannys". We visited the Cathedral team on a workout day in January 2023 and are sharing interviews with "The Mannys" and Coach Farfan as they prep for the 2023 track season.
