An MV-22 Osprey springs its wings at the 2024 MCAS Cherry Point Air Show. This is footage from both Saturday & Sunday.

The V-22 Osprey is currently the only tilt-rotor VTOL aircraft in service. The entire engine cell can rotate through more than 90° of rotation, allowing the aircraft to fly either like a helicopter or like an airplane. In the U.S. Marine Corps, the MV-22 is used as a troop transport and a medium lifter.

The MV-22 Demo consists of a vertical landing and take-off, a high-speed pass, a series of strafes and pedal turns, and a short takeoff. Towards the end of the demo, you will notice a second Osprey in the background.
