This time, Nam-pla are visiting to the "Ayutthaya Corn Festival" held in Ayutthaya, Thailand. The festival was held right next to "Wat Mahathat" in the center of the old city of Ayutthaya. (November 18-20, 2022)

Wat Mahathat in the evening was lit up and it was very beautiful, and when I was walking around the ruins, I happened to find a festival going on.

Many stalls are lined up at the festival and you can eat delicious Thai food.
There were also shops selling souvenirs, crafts, and costumes for rent, and the festival was very lively.
The park was beautifully lit up, with motifs of natural plants such as ears of rice and trees.
The scene was very beautiful and artistic, creating the atmosphere of Ayutthaya, which is different from the lighting up of the city. Many locals come to the festival and you can feel the atmosphere of Thai people. There were also people enjoying the festival wearing traditional Ayutthaya costumes, making the festival even more spectacular.

In Thailand, there is a traditional performing art called "Khon".
Khon is a masquerade drama, a comprehensive performing art that combines elements of music, vocals, literature, dance, ceremonies and handicrafts.
There are four main roles in this stage, and there are four types of characters: royalty, women, demons, and monkeys. Masked demons and monkeys.
Their costumes are golden in color and feature traditional embroidery and decorations.
Corn has a history from the Ayutthaya period, and it seems that it was performed during celebrations and ceremonies in royal palaces.
Currently, it is registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage and is appreciated from all over the world.

At the Korn Festival we went to, it seemed like young Thai people were performing and performing. It was my first time seeing such a beautiful traditional Thai play and I was mesmerized by the graceful movements, delicate costumes and layered music. Thank you so much for showing us such a wonderful show.

This time, we were able to see corn at a festival, but it seems that there are places where you can see corn in Bangkok.
