We found an awesome campground along our route to Yellowstone National Park. Spring Creek Campground and Trout Ranch is located in Big Timber, Montana, not too far off Route 90. The campground has approximately 64 sites that fits RV’s of all sizes. They offer sites with either 50 or 30 amp electric, some sites are full hook-ups while others are just electric and water—those sites offer camping on the Boulder River. They have 4 cabins and tent camping is permitted too. We found the camp host to be helpful and accommodating. They have a general store, clean restrooms/showers, laundry facilities and wi-fi is included in your nightly campsite rate. There are 2 trout ponds you are allowed to fish with the required Montana fishing license. Fly fishing seemed to be the way to go at this trout ranch!! We were pleasantly surprised by this campground and trout ranch and have added this spot to our RV Trip Wizard for future visits.
