In this samrajya of Rama Bhakti, many great saints have experienced the grace of Shri Rama. They have sung innumerable melliflous kirtanas, stotras, kavitas and kavyas in various languages showcasing myriad emotions of Rama Bhakti. Shri Kancherla Gopanna, who was renowned as Ramadasa of Bhadrachalam, was one such great bhakta who dedicated many kirtanas to Shri Rama. The Bhadrachalam temple is witness to his unflinching devotion to Shri Rama. One of his telugu kirtanas - 'Etiruga nanu' in the raga Nadanamakriya is an evergreen melody that has touched many a heart. Shri Sringeri Sharada Peethadhipati Jagadguru Shri Shri Bharati Tirtha Mahasvamigal, inspired by this soulful composition has penned the sahitya in samskrtam for the same melodic contour.
