SONY HDD-1000による既存の記録済テープの再生動画です。
記録環境や記録機材の状態等は不明です。

This is a playback movie of an existing recorded tape by SONY HDD-1000.
Recording environment and condition of recording equipment are unknown.

We are pleased to introduce you to Sony's HDV-1000 VTR, the "HDD-1000".
The first generation "HDV-1000 1984" was an analog recording VTR, while the second generation "HDD-1000 1990" was a full digital recording VTR.
Both are uncompressed direct recording systems and are positioned as master VTRs for HD broadcasts. The "HDD-1000" also features CD-quality 8-channel digital audio recording, with a total of 8 analog audio channels and cue channels. In addition to analog inputs and outputs, the HDD-1000 is equipped with parallel digital inputs and outputs, allowing VTR-to-VTR copying and direct connection to the station's digital network without degradation. The remote is a traditional 9-pin Sony system that can be connected to most editing equipment and peripherals with a single cable.

The operation system is the same as that of Sony's old NTSC 1-inch VTR, the BVH series, so operation is easy, but it requires a large processor unit, which makes it look ridiculously large, and it probably weighs about 100 kg. The tape speed is 80.5 cm/s, which is like a fast forward.

We acquired three of these VTRs four years ago, along with two spare units. The head has been used for about 650 hours and is in very good condition. From the contents of the attached tapes, it seems that they were used for picture quality evaluation at NHK's Technical Research Laboratories. The tape is an ultra-thin tape of about 10 microns in thickness made of chrome oxide with ultra-high coercive force. The tape attached to the main unit is a 64-minute "V64/HD-1D" type.

The HDD-1000 is the tape transport for the Digital HDVS VTR.It requires the use of the HDDP-1000 signal processor.See HDD-1000PAC1.
