Empress Canyon at Wentworth Falls is possibly one of the most popular canyons, especially with guided canyon tours. It is easy to get to, easy to exit out of, there is a walking track to the start and out from the final pool, it does not get any easier really.

This is a really fun canyon, a few jumps, some slides, some swims, steep and deep sides in places, does not take overly long and an impressive final abseil straight down Empress Falls of just under 30mtrs, a highlight of this canyon.

Join me as I experience Empress Main Canyon for the first time, but certainly not the last time. This was my first abseil down a pumping waterfall and I gotta say, I was nervous, but once I started down, it was just amazing to experience!
