Homemade Puff Pastry | Sandra Dias Recipe
Puff pastry is a classic of French confectionery. It’s a butter based laminated dough, which is opened and folded on itself several times, creating several layers of dough and butter, that resemble a stack of paper sheets, and are deliciously crunchy.
In order to make perfect homemade puff pastry, you’ll need patience, because this dough requires many rest intervals in the fridge; great quality butter (no margarine allowed!); and, if possible, great quality all-purpose flour as well.
You’ll learn how to make this puff pastry with one hundred and sixty-two layers of butter. If you prefer, you can create even more layers!
Enjoy!
