After a thriller against Udinese, Milan were the favourite against Brescia. It seems as if every game Milan have played in the new year has been extremely open. The first half vs Brescia was very similar to the previous match as it was back and fourth, both sides having chances. For a period of time it seemed Brescia was at the doorstep of scoring a goal but thankfully the Milan defence denied all their attack. Milan had the best opportunity of the half as Zlatan missed a sitter from just a few feet from the net. Going into half it was a goalless draw.
The start of the second half saw Brescia dominate play as Milan were too casual with the ball giving it away every chance they got. Gigio Donnarumma was a super hero for Milan as he made outstanding saves to keep it scoreless. Brescia continued to apply pressure but Milan held strong. Out of nowhere Milan went on the attack and Zlatan sent a ball into the box. After a mad scramble Ante Rebic found the ball and put Milan up 1-0.
