SUMMARY - Inter produced a dominant display to thrash Torino 4-0 at the Meazza, a result which stretches their lead at the top of the Serie A table to five points as Roma were held 1-1 at Livorno. Zlatan Ibrahimovic opened the floodgates from the penalty spot shortly before the interval, with Julio Cruz, Luis Jimenez and Ivan Cordoba adding second-half goals.
Inter broke the deadlock in the 38th when Ibrahimovic was brought down by Toro captain Comotto after a delightful through ball from Cruz. The Swedish forward stepped up to the spot and coolly stroked under Sereni for his 14th goal in all competitions this season.
