A strong core during pregnancy will lead to an easier pregnancy, labor, and recovery! We are going to work through 8 exercises to help you maintain core strength and stability throughout pregnancy! In this core training session, we will focus on a variety of planks and glute bridge exercises to build up a strong core! You won't need any equipment for this workout, only 8 minutes and we've done it!

This workout will be a great regular addition to your training throughout your pregnancy to maintain your strong core!

This workout is also designed to help minimize diastasis recti or abdominal separation of your rectus abdominis. Although this will occur during pregnancy, we can work towards minimizing this and also aiding in recovery postpartum! An important part of minimizing ab separation is avoiding moves or exercises that cause coning of your abs. This can be things like crunches, sit-ups, or even sitting up from a lying position without rolling to your side and pressing through your arm for assistance. Keeping good posture can also help to reduce diastasis recti!

This workout is safe for all trimesters, but please listen to your body do what feels best to you, and stop if any exercise feels uncomfortable! During pregnancy, our body goes through many changes, so some things that felt great before pregnancy, may not during!
