Tayan Bridge is included in the list of longest bridges number 3 in Indonesia after the Suramadu and Pasupati bridges in Bandung. The length of this bridge is recorded as 1440 meters with a width of about 11 meters. Then what is also interesting is that this bridge divides a small island in the middle of the Kapuas river, namely Tayan Island. After being completed, this bridge immediately became an icon of West Kalimantan, especially in the Tayan Hilir District, Sanggau Regency. Along this bridge there are quite a number of people who stop to capture the moment, some take pictures, make videos or just relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Then on the edges of the bridge there are many traders on holidays who sell a variety of food and drinks.
Yesterday I explored Tayan Hilir by motorbike and spent about 2.5 hours with a distance of about 140 kilometers. Yesterday after visiting this Tayan bridge I immediately went to the Ensiling waterfall which is not too far from this Tayan bridge.
Arriving at this bridge, you can immediately park your vehicle on the side of the road that has a white marking line, I think the marking is specially made for visitors who want to stop. The view on the Tayan bridge is quite good if we go when the sun is setting.
