Having called this city home for nearly a decade, I've discovered countless hidden gems and unique experiences that blend the familiarity of home with the excitement of being a tourist in Hamburg. Welcome to the first ten in my series of 100 Random Things to Do in Hamburg. Are you ready for an adventure?

1: My first tip is a little vending machine supporting local art from @hamburgpotter on Eppendorfer Weg, super cute, go check it out and bring some euro coins!!

2: Transport yourself to Seoul 🇰🇷 and have a karaoke party with your friends at Seoul 1988 Karolienviertal, don’t forget to order some Soju so your friends actually sing 🥂

3:British Style Pies and Fries 🥹 at @cheeky_pies
Extra gravy please!
I’ve loved watching this little place grow! Now they have their own restaurant on Weidenallee. Congrats @cheeky_pies ♥️

4: Sunset ride on the Ferris wheel at the Dom! 🎡🌅
Best in the summer, so you’re not freezing!! Wednesdays are family day and all rides are 5 EUR.

5: Fondue party with your besties, need I say more?

6: If you ever see this guy with a sailor hat riding around in his Kabuki cab, catch a ride!! He knows all the cool back streets and so much history ❤️🤩

7: Guys, when I first posted my first tip it went viral and you sold out the vending machine! 🥹 Please don’t sell out the 📍 Finnish Seaman Church Finnish Shop (Portugueseviertal), so I can go back and get my favorite Finnish cookies 😀 btw, We really enjoyed this cheap date idea in Hamburg 👩‍❤️‍👨

8: Who needs to fly to Portugal when you have a little Portugal right in Hamburg, and a Pastel de nata window at your service? 🤔 (jk the weather really sucks lately)
This is my favourite little treat in the Portugeseviertal 😋 Cafe Sul in Portugueseviertal

9: My Ukrainian / Lithuanian ancestors be rolling in their graves for this meal 🥰 @kuchnia_hamburg is my fav guilty pleasure

10: I love the Altbau’s around Hamburg, and this building ‘Hayn/Hegestrasse’ in Eppendorf has a 50 year long history of fighting to keep the building from demolition, eviction and raising rental prices. There is a long family history and generations that have lived here. The signs are in German but you can use an app on your phone to translate. There is also an audio tour (in German) for free. Who else walks by this building and always stops to read about it?

I’ll keep posting this series make sure to subscribe to my channel and click update so you don't miss out on the random but also cool things to do in Hamburg ⚓️
