Welcome back to my channel! This compilation is a bit different from the topics I normally cover, but every time I bring it up on my social media, it gets a lot of engagement. Whether you have curly hair and want tips for visiting hair salons abroad, or you enjoy cultural shocks and seeing different approaches to everyday things, this video is for you. Join me on a hair journey from Germany to Malta, Turkey, and Spain, and find out what to expect from salon visits across Europe. As a bonus, at the end I’ve included a video sharing how I style my curly hair and the products I love. Ready? Let's go.

Curly Hair Styling in Germany
One common complaint among expats is, "It’s so hard to find a good hair salon in Germany!" Especially when you don't have typical fine, straight German hair. The truth is, you can find good and not-so-good places everywhere, but the level of care and attention in Germany often comes at a high price. In this video, I visit "Cut for Friends" in Hamburg. It's a hipster place with great results! Curly hair girl approved—give it a try.

Curly Hair Haircut in Spain
This was a fun and risky experience. I love trying different places in different countries. The biggest challenge was the language barrier since I don't speak Spanish, and their English was limited. Thanks to Google Translate, we made it work. I felt confident because I saw a stylist with beautiful curly hair. I even learned new styling techniques. Overall, it was a great experience.

Getting Hair Done in Istanbul
As an expat in Germany, you know Turkish people are renowned for their hair skills. Getting my hair done in Istanbul was a must, especially considering the cost difference compared to Germany. High-quality service for a lower cost. I got the full treatment—Olaplex, color touch, and a blowout. I'm not used to seeing myself with a blowout instead of curls. What do you guys think? Let me know in the comments.

Hair Experience in Malta
This was also a positive experience, made easier by the fact they speak English. Prices are better than in Germany, and I was really happy with the result.

Styling My Curly Hair in Germany: Products and Tips
First, I start with a shower. I use products by ZENZ, a Danish brand available online in Germany. It's organic and smells amazing. I comb my hair in the shower, then dry it with a microfiber towel for about 20 minutes. I don't use too many products—just a little oil, which you can see in the video. The key is to use your hand or a comb to curl your hair before it completely dries. Depending on your time and desired definition, you can use a hair curler on the less defined bits. Voilà, you're ready to go.

I hope these tips are helpful and encourage you to experiment with hair salons in other countries. Don’t forget to hit subscribe and click the bell to stay updated on my channel if you're interested in travel, life abroad in Germany, and cultural shocks/international experiences.

Enjoy!
