This is Remake It! Where we take another look at characters in Smash Bros. whose fighter designs have aged poorly, wandered too far out-of-character, or could otherwise benefit from a revisit, then theorycraft what a reworked and improved version of their moveset, playstyle, and other details might look like!

Up this time is a certain famous princess with a lot of room to grow. Unlike most of the characters this series has featured so far, Peach's moveset has held up pretty well since her debut in Melee! But between her recent starring role in Princess Peach: Showtime, older games with standout abilities for her (like Super Mario RPG) getting remade for modern audiences, and a general shift that emphasizes her being more than just a damsel in distress, it's made Peach's Smash design start to feel stuck in the past.

What if Smash 6 (or whatever its name ends up being) could fix that before it becomes a problem on the level of Samus, Donkey Kong, and so many others? How could some subtle adjustments and quality-of-like improvements, along with a few brand new moves, help Peach truly shine? And could something be done so her most effective combos aren't so physically demanding that they cause her players actual medical problems anymore? Watch on and find out!
