Roberts video #1. Today, I'm announcing a new project that I received on January 20, 2024. This La Pavoni Pro holds special sentimental value to its owners, Emilia and Ryan. Emilia's father acquired it when he was in Italy in the 1980's, studying medicine. It had been sitting on her father's shelf for years, until he gave it to her. Ryan offered to pay for the rebuild. I learned about it from Tudor at Coffee Sensor, with whom I have worked on several projects. I offered to rebuild the machine pro-bono for the cost of materials. Tonight starts our journey to understand the machine and its current challenges.

Unfortunately, I whiffed the unboxing, having only taken a photo of it instead of a video. But here is the video of my first evaluation of the machine and where I might go with the rebuild.
