Roberts video #2. I started by opening the base to see what we had underneath this 1980's La Pavoni Pro. The date on the underside of the base had been painted over, but the element is stamped 9-82, so it would be dated September 1982. This model was marketed by La Pavoni as LUSSO (PL) from 1980-1984. Decent wiring. Painted metal to try to stop the rust from growing. Old-style pressurestat, which I haven't seen before. New green replacement switch (the original red switch had failed).
