With THAT collision destined to be talked-about for many a day, Peter begins this video with his take on the lap 64 Max Verstappen-Lando Norris shunt that eliminated them both from contention - and explains why it was that the Red Bull driver, at that point, was only running scrubbed medium Pirellis (as distinct from the new mediums on Lando's McLaren). Peter also identifies two stewards' decisions that could have greatly affected the race outcome - and you may be suprised. After the Turn 3 fracas, it was Mercedes' George Russell who breezed through to win from McLaren's Oscar Piastri and Ferrari's Carlos Sainz. Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen finished fourth and fifth - both with penalties - and both Haas-Ferraris - upstaging teams like Aston Martin and Williams - finished assuredly in the points.
