This is a video of trains arriving, departing, and passing through Koshienguchi Station on the JR Kobe Line (Tokaido Main Line) in Japan (weekday evening rush hour, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.). The video shows passing special rapid service, rapid service, Super Hakuto express, Hamakaze express, freight trains, and local trains stopping.

The platform for Sannomiya and Kobe has platforms 1 and 2. Platform 2 is for return trains from Osaka, but it is only in operation in the morning and some evenings, so it was not in use during the shoot.

At Koshienguchi Station, the platform has been extended toward Osaka, making it longer than the 8-car capacity and able to accommodate 12 cars. Platforms 1 and 3 are closer to the Osaka side, but platform 2 stops on the traditional Sannomiya side, presumably because trains cannot stop on the staircase, and there is a fence on the Osaka side.
There is a platform for return trains, but there is no platform on the outer track towards Kobe where special rapid service and limited express trains pass.

In the narrower part of the platform, in addition to the usual melody, "Mary Had a Little Lamb" is played when a train approaches.
