Just like on my normal days of eating, I've crafted a strategic means of hitting my macros — and most importantly protein — on road trips.
I drive A LOT and am routinely taking road trips that span anywhere from 10 to 25 hours. I would NOT recommend doing the 25-hour road trip in one shot. Trust me, it's not worth it. I lost my sanity on that trip, LOL.
In this video, I share how I hit my daily protein goal of 1g per lb of body weight when on road trips.

As mentioned in the video, I forgot to add the Chick-fil-A macros throughout the video, so my protein count was a little off.
I blame waking up at 4 AM and not really sleeping the night before on that. Pre-trip stress — so pretty normal for me, to be honest.
When road tripping, I accept that my calories and overall macros won't likely be perfect, and that's okay.
For me, when I'm stuck in my truck, my goals revolve around hitting my daily protein intake goals and mitigating any form of stress around food.
