Glad to see you again! I’m really happy to share with you this video in which I’m painting a huge abstract artwork using acrylic paint. Painting this big is so much fun; it’s my first time using such a large canvas but definitely not my last.

My trip to Asturias, the north of Spain, inspired me to paint this. The vivid landscapes, the contrast between blue seascapes and green mountains, the colours and all the wonderful experiences I had during my voyage are captured in this art piece full of movement. The gold leaf resembles the yellow-orange sand I walked on in Gijón.

Also to mention, while I was painting a verse of a poem by Sylvia Plath came repeatedly to my mind: “where it pours bean green over blue”, this might describe pretty well my artwork.

With this piece, I will always have a beautiful memory of my autumn trip to Asturias.
