今回は鈴鹿山脈の最北端、カルストで有名な霊仙山に挑戦してきました。
車で落合神社の駐車場へ。朝7時前でしたが5台くらい停まっており余裕がありました。今畑登山口からスタート。ちなみにこの辺りは携帯の電波は入りません💦
今畑の廃村を通り、登って行きます。最初は全く岩はないですが、笹峠から少しずつカルストの岩が出てきます。そして岩だらけの斜面をひたすら登り、近江展望台へ。琵琶湖、長浜がキレイに見え、絶景でした。こんな景色をこんな低山で見られるんなんてビックリ🫢ここでカニカマを食べながらひと休憩。
その後は尾根稜線歩きですが、そこまで日も強くなく涼しく気持ち良い山行でした。しかし、霊仙山最高地点の少し手前で、また右足首の捻挫…😭グネッといってしまいました。今日はトレッキングポールを持ってきていたので、その後はトレッキングポールを使用しながらの山登り。霊仙山の三角点にも行き、9号目(経塚山)で再び軽くご飯。その後は池前の鳥居も通過し、一部榑ヶ畑コースを降りて、汗拭き峠を通過。その後は結構急な勾配の坂がありちょっと焦るところもありましたが、無事に落合の駐車場に帰ってきました。
いや〜低山なのにこんな景色の良い山があるなんて！充実した山行でした。


Today I challenged to climb Mt. Ryozen, the northernmost peak in the Suzuka Mountains, famous for its karst.
I drove to the parking lot of Ochiai Shrine. It was just before 7:00 am, but there was still space to park cars. I started from the Imahata trailhead. By the way, you cannot use cell phone around here💦.
Ie passed through the abandoned village of Imahata and climbed up. At first there are no rocks at all, but karst rocks gradually appear from Sasa-touge. Then I climb up the rocky slope to the Omi Observatory. The view of Lake Biwa and Nagahama was beautiful and spectacular. I was surprised to see such a view from such a low mountain.
After that, I walked along the ridge, which was cool and pleasant as the sun was not that strong. However, just before the highest point of Mt. Ryozen, I sprained my right ankle again 😭. I had brought my trekking poles with me today, so after that I climbed up the mountain with them. I went to the triangular point on Mt. Ryozen and had a light meal again at 9th station (Mt.Kyozuka). After that, I also passed the torii gate in front of the pond, descended partially down the Kuregahata course, and passed Asefuki touge Pass. After that, there were some steep slopes that made me a bit nervous, but I returned safely to the parking lot in Ochiai.
I was surprised to find such a scenic mountain even though it is a low mountain! It was a fulfilling hike.
