A client cancelled a project after some pretty crazy footage had already been shot. Their loss is your gain.

This video was made with a very high-end science grade Olympus slow motion camera. It was shot at various frames per second for extreme slow motion (mostly between 1000 and 5000 frames per second, fps, but the camera can go up to something like 70,000 fps).

The cancelled program, for a company who will remain nameless, was going to talk about all the forced which can destroy and degrade things in the world, and how you can use their products to safeguard yourself. It would have been AWESOME.

There is a crazy beauty sometimes in things being destroyed. At one point the series of videos was going to be called 'Destruction is Beautiful.'

For the video we smashed glass globes with hammers, dropped M80 firecrackers into glasses of water, and shot wine glasses with BB guns. The resulting images were exactly what I'd hoped.

Oh well...
