Instacrete Kenya has pioneered two new innovative alternative building technologies in Kenya, the dry concrete and mortar mix. You only need to add water for both! The sand is properly dried by heating it using the husks of macadamia nuts.

Concrete Dry Mix
40 kgs per bag
Ksh 470-550 (USD 3 - 3.7) per bag
12 kg cement, 10 kg sand & 18 kg ballast
Class 25 of concrete
Ideal for foundation slabs and general purpose concrete use cases
Bag is beige in colour
1 bag covers a volume of 0.7 cubic feet of concrete

Mortar Dry Mix
40 kgs per bag
Ksh 450-520 (USD 3 - 3.5) per bag
Mix ratio is 1:5 (cement to sand)
1 bag covers a linear length of 22-25 feet of 6 inch stone blocks
Bag is blue in colour
Ideal for masonry joints & for rough plaster of walls
Can also be used as a plaster for precast panel joints where 2 panels interlock
