When working on splits, most people take the same steps. Long duration stretching. That's it. Over and over and over and over and over. Does it work? Sure. Is it the best strategy? Not even close.

The secret to getting flexibility for the splits is that if you implement different strategies along with the long duration stretching, you can get faster response from the muscles and it becomes less boring and less of a chore.

There are techniques like soft tissue mobilization, PNF stretching, dynamic stretching, and reciprocal inhibition that can all aid in improving muscle flexibility. All of these are taught in this video!
