Haruna Makiyama
Born in Kumamoto Prefecture. She started playing the electric bass at the age of 10 when she joined her elementary school's big band. During junior high, she began performing at local jazz clubs and started her music career, primarily around Kyushu. In 2017, she studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston, where she learned jazz, Latin music, and Black music. After returning to Japan, she based her activities in Tokyo and joined "PAJAUMI (パジャマで海なんかいかない" in 2021). Currently, she is active in live performances and studio recordings, supporting a wide range of artists including Maharajan, Kaela Kimura, Vickeblanka, Satoko Shibata, and Anna Takeuchi.
