The guys at the hostel and I went to meet up with the nice japanese kids that I hung out with at Oktoberfest. They were super cool, they thought it was funny I wanted to eat a lot of weird food. At first we hung out at the arcade in Asakusa and then we met up at an Izakaya. It was awesome... everything I wanted. I got some more vending machine stuff... some random Dragon Quest keychain things... I found the women's panties vending machine near the Don Quixote store in Akihabara.

I think I messed up the order of some photos... here is a toilet that has a place to wash your hands on the top. At the time I thought it was a really good and efficient idea... then we find out later in life that they have those toilets in jail. And I think the McDonalds burgers were from a different day... I might have went to lunch again with the swedish girl... I dunno... she wanted McDonalds... And I took a picture of the trash and how they separate things for recycling. This was new to me also.

We were supposed to hang out the last days... she originally wanted to go to that izakaya in Ginza that we ate at to see if we can find those businessmen again. So I guess that was the plan basically... I think I put up a karaoke sign up page at the hostel. We were planning on going to an izakaya for dinner, then karaoke later. So...it was basically my last days. I think second to last... and I am just sitting around waiting for this girl... "So are we going to that izakaya?"

"Yeah maybe later. Right now I am talking to people on Skype."

"Ok." I say....

...hours pass... and I am like... "Should I stay around? Wait for you to get off the laptop or can I just go out? It's ok if you don't want to go but this is my last night so I want to go and do something at all times."

And she would give me these wishy washy answers that were like "Oh maybe when I am done." So I don't know what to do. So I tell her I am just going to leave for a second to get some food, but I won't eat too much or go too far so we can still go out if she wanted. Because she isn't giving me any idea or way of planning...

So I went to the conveyor belt sushi place nearby and it was really good. Like... I wanted to eat as much as possible... just to say I did. But I went back... and then I went back she was like "Oh it doesn't seem like anyone wants to go to an izakaya Chris." You know... I hate this crap... I wanted to see something new or hang out.... not just do the same old crap...

So I sat there... and like... she just takes charge and leads the group... and it was just going to karaoke a couple hours early. So I think to myself... screw this... and I go off to try to find some food. And so I went to Ginza without her... walked around but I didn't even recognize the place... I wanted to find a nice little place to drink but I seriously didn't see anything that looked as cool as that place.

So I think I just kept walking and went to Shinjuku thinking I could maybe hook up with a girl or something... and just kept walking around. I stumbled upon a cool looking park and on the other side were these really small bars... like they could have been made in a parking lot in a haste or something... that is what they looked like from outside.

One of them was playing loud american rap... I think Biggie Smalls, maybe Get Money.... I forget... and I went in and it was a really cool place. I just sat down and they gave me a beer. Like... the beer there was Kirin but it was a special local Kirin or something because it was a different label, and it was like a hoppy lager or something. It was awesome. I drank like 6 of them and the local cool kids talked to me, gave me some stickers and stuff. Like they didn't have food... like I almost left when they didn't have food,... that was my goal... a really big expensive meal I couldn't get anywhere else... and they bring out little tidbits... like tapas... like one one those seaweed cookie things... then there was one with toothpicks and it was like mini wasabi bites... They were really good. I have never had anything like that since. They were like chewy bite size bits that tasted like wasabi. no idea what I was eating.

One guy asked me if I liked Funk music and I said sure, so he played me "The Funky Permanents". It was nice background music but I felt it was too clean... like... by the book... I dunno... like... it sounded a bit sterile.... but they could be good live.

I watched them play this card game... I didn't want to video anything because they were scary. Then they closed the door to the bar and asked me if I wanted to smoke. Holy crap I got high in Japan. It might have been legal Delta 9... It looked like a war zone outside with passed out bodies of ravers and club patrons just passed out on the street sleeping. I got back to Ueno stop and saw a ramen place open.

Nothing special happens but continued in next video because I ran out off space.
