Hawaii is about to deal with a close encounter with a tropical storm, if not a hurricane, as invest 91E moves WNW at 10-15 mph. Anyone living on the Hawaiian islands really needs to watch the tropical disturbance very closely as storm surge is possible along with near hurricane-force winds, significant flooding at a life-threatening level & big wind damage.
