An amazing show by singer/songwriter Ellen Benediktson at Hilma in Stockholm on the 4th of April 2024. She has a really strong stage presence, this woman definitely has her "Rock Moves" going on. The way she owns the stage and moves around so much reminds me visually of Sabrina Carpenter. Ellen describes her own music as pop rock, though I think her music is more edgy and is bit harder. As an example Ellen's song "Good Girl" has a real indy-rock/pixies feeling, while some of the riffs in "maniac" remind me of Veronica Maggio, the main melody is nothing like anything Veronica would sing. This woman has range in her music. Go see her - you won't be disappointed.
